Can I cancel my subscription?

We hope the thought of canceling your subscription doesn’t cross your mind. However, we understand that plans change and businesses evolve.

You may cancel your plan with WebEaze at any time from your Stripe Portal. Canceling your plan will be effective immediately from the date you cancel. We’re unable to issue refunds for unused time.

What happens when I cancel my subscription?

When you cancel your plan, you’re terminating your relationship with us. This means:

  • the Scope of Work (SOW) you signed is no longer in effect and a new SOW must be signed should you join us in the future
  • all benefits associated with your plan (including the ongoing support benefit) will end immediately
  • your site content and domain will be released from our responsibility
  • no refunds will be issued for unused time

What happens with my site content?

If you have a monthly subscription that has not elapsed 12 months, we’ll delete your site content within 2 business days of canceling your subscription. This deletion is irreversible. We can share site files until the end of the 2nd business day. 


If your subscription has elapsed 12 months or longer, we’ll transfer all site content to you up to 30 days after cancellation. We’re not responsible for your hosting provider, so any formatting or site content that gets lost while transferring it to you are out of our control. 

If you have a one-time plan, we’ll transfer all site content to you up to 30 days after cancellation. We’re not responsible for your hosting provider, so any formatting or site content that gets lost while transferring it to you are out of our control.

As a courtesy, we’ll also email you a list of all third-party integrations you have on your website so your transition can happen smoothly. 

How about my Domain or Hosting? 

If we’ve covered your domain costs, your domain registrant information includes our credentials:

We’ll ask what you’d like to do with the domain. We can either: 

  • transfer the domain registrant information to your name and information
  • sell the domain to the platform we purchased your domain from

You have 30 days from your cancellation date to let WebEaze know what you’d like to do with your domain. After 30 days, we’ll assume you no longer want the domain and we’ll sell it.
