Understanding Website Ownership and Access
We believe in full transparency. Whether you’re just launching your site or thinking about long-term control, it’s important to know what parts of the website you fully own and which areas we manage on your behalf.

What You Own
When we build your website, you retain ownership of:
- Your domain name: if you purchased the domain (e.g., from Namecheap or GoDaddy), it’s yours. We can manage it for you, but you’ll always keep the rights.
- Your Content: all text, images, videos, and branding that you provided or approved for use belong to you.
- Design Files (by request): if you request a full export of your site’s HTML, CSS, or other assets, we can provide those as part of your plan (as long as your plan has elapsed 12 months or you paid for a one-time plan). Some limitations may apply based on the platform used.
What WebEaze Manages
As part of your subscription, we manage the following:
- Hosting Setup & Maintenance: we take care of the server setup, updates, and backend performance.
- Software Licenses: we cover any necessary licenses (like page builders, security tools, etc.) that power your site.
- Security, Backups & Tech Support: as long as you’re subscribed, we handle all technical maintenance for you.
Access Requests
Need access to your site files, dashboard, or DNS? No problem.
We’re happy to provide:
- Admin login (for supported platforms)
- File exports (HTML/CSS or CMS platforms)
- DNS access or transfer support if switching hosts. We will not cover any costs associated with domain transfers at this time.
Want to Take Full Control?
If you decide to cancel or transfer your website, we’ll work with you to export files, release domain settings, or migrate your site — depending on the platform used and your plan.
